Creative Therapy
What is it?:
Creative therapy is simply Psychological therapy offering a unique approach, using artistic expression to explore emotions, reduce stress, and promote healing. Therapy can be done with or without this aspect and you don’t have to be “good” at art for it, as there is no right or wrong. Through techniques such as painting, drawing and collage, we provide a safe and supportive space for self-discovery and personal growth. Currently, this involves your own materials, but can be as simple as paper and coloured pencils.
Who can benefit:
This approach is especially helpful for those who find it difficult to express feelings through words alone or who are looking for a more intuitive way to process emotions. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Discovering emotions via drawing
- Meditation to soothing music
- Collage for exploring identity
- Painting to ground self in the present-moment
- Reconnecting with a child-like state
Sessions are conducted online via video or phone call and usually last 50 minutes. Whether you want to deepen self-awareness, manage anxiety, or reconnect with your sense of identity, creative therapy can offer transformative experiences.

from £120 per session
